So long 2019, hello 2020!

This past year has been full of many professional milestones. In February, I made my off-broadway debut as the Head Chorus member and understudy for the title role in Pancyprian Society's adaptation of Euripides' Medea. Following that accomplishment, the short film I star in Too Tight premiered at Hofstra University's Film Festival where it won two awards and went on to play at more local festivals throughout the summer. After that, I journeyed up to Boston to join Commonwealth Shakespeare Company as an Apprentice on The Boston Commons. There, not only did I have the pleasure of playing Lysander in A Midsummer Night's Dream - a role I never thought I would play - but I also worked closely with the company's head of marketing. This taught me skills about messaging, community engagement, and various media platforms I plan to apply to the rest of my career. Once back in NYC, I pursued many opportunities this fall including film and tv casting director workshops, EPA's, and my NY Cabaret debut with Innovative Voice Studio that premiered two weeks ago. In the coming weeks, I will have a couple big announcements regarding the success of these pursuits so stay tuned!

Of course, my biggest accomplishment of this past year would have to be the relationships I have built. From fellow cast members and directors, to mentors and champions, I am very grateful to those I have had the privilege of working alongside this past year. What I am most looking forward to in 2020 is deepening these connections and continuing to work with such a talented collection of individuals. I cannot wait to see who I meet and work with in this next year! In conclusion, so long 2019 and hello 2020!
